St. Michael's Church

The school has a great links with St Michael's Church in Twerton and the church building is just down the road.  We take part in services in the church building at key points in the Christian calendar.  Every Tuesday, members of the church lead worship in the school featuring songs, stories and fun.  Also, every Tuesday, after school, St. Michael's church run a Kidz Club.  Currently, about 70 children from the school go along every week.

When we think of church may people instantly think of a building and the things that go on inside it. We want to change that and turn it on it's head.

We want everyone, when they think of St Michael's, to think instantly of people - people like themselves - people making a difference. We hope that St Michael's is different.

We are a growing community of people of all backgrounds and all ages and we are convinced that God wants to do great things here in Twerton.

While we love to get together on Sundays we don't want to be known primarily for our 'services'. We want to be known for other things - friendship, concern, authenticity, community, enthusiasm, joy, giving, life.  Having said all this, we know we're nothing special - just a group of ordinary people - like you.
