Class 7Year 5 class taught by Mrs Hurford Since this photo was taken I have had a total makeover. My hair is now bright green with pink stripes and I have fangs. Class 7 are a great bunch of children. They are very lively and enthusiastic with a great love of drama (and noise). The poor things have had to put up with me since the beginning of year 4 and are probably looking forward to leaving me for new teachers next year. I try very hard to be strict- but it doesn't work. They think I'm a bit mad and fussy about pen lids and homework ( don't forget it needs to be in by Tuesday!!!!) Page under construction - please wear a hard hat and bring your wheelbarrow
At the moment we are studying life cycles in Science. We are growing sunflower seeds to watch the different stages of growth. Class 7 recently went To St Mark's School for a science afternoon. Twenty-six children and thirteen bunsen burners and not a singed eyebrow at the end of the afternoon. It was great fun. The pantomime will be with us soon. Class 7 has quite a few budding thespians with speaking parts. The rest of the class will be rehearsing a beanstalk growing dance. |
