The following pages are designed to keep Parents, Guardians and Children informed of all the latest news about their classes

St Michael's currently has 180 children on roll spread across four year groups and six classes.  There are three classes in upper school with mixed 5/6's in each and three classes in lower school taught as mixed Y3/4s.

Our school is very well resourced with interactive whiteboards and visualisers in each of our classrooms. There is a large whiteboard in the hall used for assemblies and presentations. Each class teacher has their own laptop that has access to the internet, and there are two computers at the back of every classroom for pupils to use in lessons.  This is also supplemented by our recently fantastic refurbished ICT suite that has 28 computers - one each for every child in a lesson!  We make the most of this in that all classes have timetabled sessions for both Literacy and numeracy each week as well as specific ICT lessons in the afternoons!

Over the past few years we have opened new resources in our school such as our library, sensory room and Learning Centre.  Our newest resource is 'The Lodge' which is used as a base for our EBD Unit and 1:1 tuition.

Why not have a look at what the children will be learning and examples of their work by using the subfolders in the menu above.
